Projects converters submit that are posted on the Mactac Creative Awards website are put to the vote by a professional jury and the general public. Projects will be judges on the basis of 3 criteria: INNOVATION, IMPACT and DESIGN. Mactac is proud to present the winners of the 2015 Edition.

Category: Outdoor Decoration: COMPANY : ATC Groupe - Country : France. Built in the 1930s on the docks of Lyon Confluence, this former sugar warehouse on the banks of the Saône River is more than 80 years old. It was given a new lease of life in 2003 with the arrival of the Biennial Contemporary Art Exhibition, which is acknowledged as one of the most important in Europe.

The walls have been decorated by ATC Group for the 12th edition of the Lyon Biennale. Imagin WW 300 wall film was chosen because of its perfect adhesion properties on difficult substrates such as concrete walls. 1 000 m² of self-adhesives films were printed with visuals designed by the artist Paulo Nimer Pjota. In June 2014, HP initiated a generous project in Spain, aimed to improve the comfort of young patients of the San Joan de Deù Children’s hospital in Barcelona. The idea was to totally update the MRI facilities of the hospital in order to turn it into a place where children would feel more comfortable during their examination. The new decoration was achieved with self-adhesive films, including MACtac WW100 Vinyl, printed with HP Latex Inks. The Spanish company Demibold undertook the Digital printing of the MACtac self-adhesive films and used them to completely cover the large scanner that most children often see as frightening. Thanks to their successful collaboration, HP and Demibold have turned this non-friendly medical device into a place where children can feel much more at ease. PRODUCT USED: IMAGin WW 100 PRO.

Shoppers were intrigued looking at it; amazed at how a flat image can be made to look 3D. This is part of the mall’s marketing campaign to attract shoppers and give them a more spectacular shopping experience. PRODUCT USED: IMAGin JT 5529 P + LUV 6300.

Category: Public Choice Awards (Public favorite project): COMPANY : Exhibit Group - Country : France. The walls of the prestigious store «Le Bon Marché» were decorated for Christmas in less than 24 hours. After two months, the installation has been removed without leaving any adhesive residue on the substrate. PRODUCT USED: IMAGin WW 300 + MACal 9800 PRO.
