Landa makes six major announcements regarding strategic cooperation, beta sites and new products
Landa opened Drupa 2016 with a flurry of announcements that demonstrate the transition of the company and its Nanography technology from a proof-of-concept, unveiled at Drupa 2012, to a robust line of Nanographic Printing presses that address all major print segments. The company has entered into strategic partnerships with Quad/Graphics, the largest publication printer in the US, and with Cimpress, the global leader in mass customization and web-to-print. In addition, Landa announced that it will deploy its presses at beta sites in Europe and the USA during 2017, naming its key beta site customers. Landa also announced an ultra-fast perfecting web press designed for publishing and direct mail, which will start shipping in late 2017.

Kodak announces Prosper OEM partnerships with manroland web systems and Matti Technology
Kodak announced new OEM partnerships with manroland web systems GmbH and Matti Technology AG to integrate KODAK PROSPER Stream Inkjet Technology. The new integrations will allow the companies to take advantage of the KODAK PROSPER inkjet lineheads' speed, low cost of ownership and reliability to move into new configurations and applications, including retail fliers, books, and transactional documents. Both the manroland web systems and Matti Technology integrated inkjet systems will be demonstrated in their booths in Hall 14 and Hall 6 respectively at drupa 2016 in Dusseldorf, Germany.

The drupa 2016 exhibition marks a turning point for track & trace expert Atlantic Zeiser: “We clearly noted strongly increasing interest in finalizing pharmaceutical packaging and labels at the latest possible moment”, says Manfred Minich, CEO of Atlantic Zeiser, summarizing the exhibition. “More and more countries require serialization, and late stage customization of packaged pharmaceuticals is becoming increasingly urgent in view of continuously decreasing lot sizes. The advantages of these solutions lie in the lower environmental impact and in the colour stability, widened by the ink control and correction. Here the GAMA solutions come into play”.

NoeCha had a very successful drupa
NoeCha technology met with great success at Drupa 2016. The company’s booth attracted many visitors who came to see the live demonstrations scheduled throughout the entire show. Drupa was an opportunity to unveil the new flatbed UV LED inkjet press NoeCha DOT1 and some additional upgrades to the industrial press NoeCha1, consisting of a fully automated loading and uploading panels system.
